my Mission

My goal has always been, and will always be to empower my clients and students. So many people have no idea what they are really capable of. How can you find out what you are made of if you aren't challenging yourself on a regular basis? Exactly! You CAN'T!! Let's work together to reach new heights!


In 2015, I set a goal to seek redemption: in the previous year, I failed to complete a 100-mile endurance run - chalking up my first dreaded ‘DNF.’ To achieve my goal, I asked Christy Scott to coach me. With her extensive resume of 100-mile finishes (6 finishes including 1 win), I knew she was the right coach to get me to the finish line. With Christy’s emphasis on quality workouts for both running and strength training, I started and finished the Pinhoti 100 Endurance Run with both a confident mindset and healthy body. Her personalized training provided the accountability I needed, and her frequent feedback on my progress allowed me to focus on “getting the work done” and not second-guess my mental or physical fortitudes. I have never been prouder of myself than when I finished that 100-miler, and I owe that success to Christy’s dedicated and calculated coaching.

  • Have completed six 100-miler's as of February, 2016. (7th one is scheduled for Nov. 2016)
  • Have acted as a pacer for the Rocket City Marathon and the Bridge Street 1/2 Marathon.
  • Lead coach for the Fleet Feet Marathon Training Program. 
  • Member of the Fleet Feet Huntsville Race Team.
